Terms of Service

By creating an account or using PetMatch, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a PetMatch account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen.

3. Acceptable Use

PetMatch exists to help real pet owners find real, safe playdates. You agree not to:

• Create a fake profile or impersonate another person or pet owner.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Use the app for any commercial solicitation, breeding, or sale of animals.
• Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.

Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or removed, and you can report or block other users directly in the app.

4. Content You Share

You retain ownership of the photos and text you post. By posting, you grant PetMatch a license to display that content to other users within the app as part of its normal operation.

5. Meeting Other Users

PetMatch helps you find nearby pet owners, but we don't run background checks and can't guarantee the conduct of any user. You're responsible for your own safety when meeting playdates in person — meet in public spaces, such as the app's suggested parks, especially for a first meetup.

6. Premium Features

Optional premium subscriptions are billed and managed through Google Play Billing, subject to Google Play's own terms and refund policies.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other users at risk. You can stop using PetMatch and delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimer

PetMatch is provided "as is." We work to keep the platform safe and reliable, but we don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any match will result in a successful playdate.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the European Union member states where PetMatch operates.
